Speaking of great starts, have any of you ever had that really awkward start, where you think something like "This site looks amazing...I think I'll join, there aren't many members yet either so it'll be fun to be part of the start of it," but then you start to feel awkward or intimidated anyway because it's mostly staff that are there? That's what this thread is for. Now, you might still be shy about it or whatever, but I think you guys'll get into it eventually.

This thread is where you can get to know your staff right away so that you don't feel so uncomfortable around them. Ask the staff questions, find out what their fandoms are, whatever. No personal information, of course, but anything else appropriate.

To start off, you can all call me whatever you want. I have various nicknames, especially since I have another name (which is Shadeflight, my main name) and I love nicknames. In fact, don't call me Brackentail at all unless that's really what you're comfortable with.
Interests? Four words: Huge Harry Potter fan. No, that does not mean I necessarily hate Twilight; I haven't read those books, but I can't say they appeal to me. I'm also a huge fan of the video game TWEWY (The World Ends With You) and of Kingdom Hearts, though I haven't played even two of the KH games. And, obviously, I enjoy the Warriors series, which I need to re-read.

Hello, Shadeflight!

It's great to see you again, and I'm happy you decided to remake the site. :3 Seriously. I missed roleplaying the fandom so much... (And I lost the website link during my cousin's 'fixing' of my laptop, so I felt awful even thoguh the website had basically died by that point.)

In any case, my name's Ariel , but I go by Night Thief basically everywhere else, so people can use either one. I go by Silver, too, but most people choose not to use it. *Shrugs a shoulder.* Uhmm... I live in the midwest, Kansas specifically. I'm a college freshman, and my current major is Music with an emphasis in vocal. I plan to minor in Creative Writing and possibly in German.

If you hadn't guessed by my major, I love music. (Hate music theory, but it's a necessary evil.) I also love playing the piano, which is one of my classes. ^^ And I love to write and roleplay. My friend Rachel and I both play around on the Vampires! The Dark Alleyway website, and she and I have around ten characters each there, and we roleplay regularly with each other on at least five of them. It's huge amount of fun, especially since she and I are used to each other's style and can play off of what the other is doing.

That randomness aside, I'm currently a huge fan of the music of Super Junior and several other Korean-based bands. I also teach myself how to play songs without music by ear alone, using only my ipod with the song as a guide. It's very fun. ^^

3DG's "Get Out Alive" inspired this (and the other) roleplay, right? So what exactly was it that got you started thinking about this site? I mean, did you immediately go, "OMG! This would make a great Warriors rp!" Or was there something else involved in that process?

Also. How long have you been interested in the Warriors fandom?

I don't really know what got me to remake the site xD; I just found the old version of the site one day recently, remembered how much fun people had there, and thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to restart it and make it twice as packed?"
As for the original v1, I don't remember, honestly. I was just listening to that song on loop sometime during Christmas vacation a few years ago and its plot and Clan names and everything came to mind in a constant flow, so I created it.
Plus it gives me a huge project to keep up with and it gives others a fun place to roleplay at the same time. Win/win wouldn't you say?
How long have I been interested? Oh lawd, longer than I can recall at the top of my head. Let's see...I've been on Warrior's Wish since 2006, and this year makes my fifth, so somewhere around five and a half years, perhaps. I remember seeing Moonlight on the shelf one day while looking for something new to read that wasn't Harry Potter, and thought, "That looks fun, it's about cats!" when I realized there was a whole different series before that and had to wait about a week before I found it to finally read it.

I'm glad you're happy to have GOA back. :3 It makes me proud to be the admin when people say things like that~

One of my best friends from when I was in California was named Ariel o: twin-names! And hey, we're next-door state buddies. I'm in Colorado~

That all sounds really cool though, I bet you're having a lot of fun with all that stuff.
It'd be great to have an RP buddy like that XD I'd love to have one, but I haven't found anyone that I can roleplay with that well yet.
I tend to figure out music by ear, too! I've played bits of songs on the piano just by knowing what they sound like, but never did a full song.. I should get back into instruments. I should also go look up those Korean bands, I've heard so much about how people like them but I've never listened to any myself.

Umm I just joined and I was looking for a newish RP hoping that within a few years I can help it in many ways and my main question would be is how many people are currently in this?

And before I give a brief into I'd like to say that the buttons where it says home, new topic, help is hard to see and that the background/ the words could be a bit darker/lighter.

Ok now that my demands (lol) are done time for the Intro.

Many of you will ask why did I name myself Dcat but that is because my friends at school gave me that nickname combining the first letter of my first name and the first three letters of my last.

I am still new (duh that's why I'm writing this) and I need help finding places like the clan camp and stuff. I have found the clan leader area but what about the camp's clearing and the nursery, medicine cat den, etc.

Sorry if this is a bit short I can't remember if the limit is 200 words or 500. I guess I will just have to hope that 256 would just be enough.

Hrmm, although we have twenty-one members, I'd say at least two to five are actually active, as in come on everyday. Then we have six to eleven who come on every week or so, do their posts all in one day and then go. And then there is the biography leavers, who do their biographies and leave, maybe not forever but for long periods of time. Of course, these are just my observations. =3

Hrmm, i'm not entirely sure how to answer that question of medicine cat's den and so on. There aren't any sub-boards that list the locations like the nursery and elder's den and so on. Any roleplays that have happened so far, are trying their best to describe the camp whilst running blind. I think it's Bracky's way of giving us more freedom with our roleplay since she's so strict with the rules. (i kid, i kid!)

Currently, there are approximately...five to tenish active members, some that come on every day and some that don't. Activity's been up and down lately, but that's all right because it's normal for a forum. And that means I'm on the right track so far~
Once my birthday weekend is over, though(a weekend because it was also my friend's birthday yesterday xD) I'll be able to have extra time to pick things back up.

I've heard others mention that about the links at the top beneath the banner. I'll see what I can do about it, but I don't want to mess the skin up too much.

That's a fun way of making a nickname xD If I did that, mine would be... Jyle. derp it sounds so foreign lol
Yours is more fitting though, it has 'cat' in it which is perfect for a Warriors RP, haha

As far as separate dens go, there aren't boards for them. If you want to roleplay in them, you'll have to create the setting yourself in the thread you make. Typically the camps are in the Lands, and the separate boards aside from the Leader's Den boards are their territory markings.

And what's so awkward about the word awkward?

Also, the 200-word rule only applies to the role-playing, hence why that rule is in the section of the Rules that is entitled "Role-Playing." Posts outside RPs don't need to be 200 xD


And the observations that Acez has made are fairly accurate :3 and lol that meme.
I guess you could call me strict XD compared to most Warriors role-plays. But these are the types of rules I've grown accustomed to in real life, and everyone I saw that followed them perfectly ended up a lot happier. So I figured I'd apply 'em here too~

Dcat, your posts outside of role-playing (such as this board you're posting in, Random Chatter, Games, and the art boards) don't need to be 200 words, as I said. xD

The rules tell you that they only need to be 200 when you are posting in role-play threads, such as if you were to role-play in Clan Territory categories. This board doesn't count as a role-play board, since you aren't being your character when you post. You're being you in this case. No 200-word posts are needed outside of your in-character posts.
