Personality: Risingpaw is a rather strange feline. He likes to test his body to the limits in flexibility, which often results in joints popped out and trips to the Medicine cat den. He is also seen as an insomniac for he stays up at night and tends to sleep during the day. But in fact he just likes to stay up and watch the fireflies, thinking of them like stars. When he does sleep, he has very odd dreams, they aren't scary or anything like that. They are just strange. The young feline is also very friendly toward almost any cat and makes friends fast. But only his very best friends will he show his secret to. It really isn't a big secret, just the place where it is best to watch the fireflies. He sees the fireflies as his friends and when he needs someone to talk to, he will go to the bugs. Risingpaw hates to see someone leave him because of what happened when he was younger. Goodbyes are something he despises to say and when he has to say it, he gets really emotional. And by emotional, I mean quiet suffering. He will go and hide at his secret place until he has recovered enough to rejoin his clan.

Small. It's the first thing you will notice about this young apprentice, for he was born the runt of the litter and as a fact, will always be small. Though, his ears are rather large for the size of his head, but even though it looks funny, it is actually every helpful for hearing critters underground. Risingpaw's fur is medium-short in length and is rather fuzzy/fluffy for he still has his kit fur. A great majority of his fur is silver-ash gray while his back is patched with ebony. His head and legs are striped in this same ebony, as is the distinctive 'M' on his forehead. His paws are more of a dusty gray from walking on the earth. His underbelly is also a dusty gray as is the bridge of his nose. The young cat's eyes are a dull golden, almost yellow color. One thing that is also very noticeable about him besides his small size, is the fact that he lacks a tail. Risingpaw did not lose his tail, but was just born without one. The fact that he lacks his tail has not hindered him in any way. And a random trait is that he is rather flexible and has this strange ability to pop his joints out of place. Though, he can't always put them back in place himself, so a little help from the Medicine cat is needed.
History: Risingpaw was born with two sisters to a mother who kept their father a secret. Everything went well, well except for the fact that when he was two moons old, he figured out that he was very flexible. At that point he began to stretch the limits of his body; which ended in him popping out his joints out of place. Lets just say every few days he got to visit the Medicine cat to pop his joints back into place. But after a few moons of doing this, he got rather good at putting his bones back in their place. It hurt a lot, but at least they were back in place.
When he turned five moons, his mother announced that she was leaving the clan with his two sisters. As it turned out, his father had been a Gustclan warrior. Missing him ever so much, his mother decided to leave her clan to live with her lover. Risingpaw's mother had already talked about this with his sisters and they agreed to go with her. When he found out, he took it badly. He loved his clan and he new the Medicine cat very well, and she new what to do for him. What would a new Medicine cat do for him? Scared to find out, he stayed with his birth clan while his family left. That night he left the clan to be by himself and came across a small field that had ten thousand fireflies. After that night, he always came to the field to cheer himself up.
