It's three thousand years in the future. Two thousand years ago, humans obliterated themselves in a nuclear war. Even though their war happened too long ago for any stories to remain, the world is still feeling the repercussions. Nights get well below freezing and noon is too hot for anything to stay in the light. Many diseases are capable of killing, and sometimes the air is too tainted to breath.
The Clans have changed. Medicine cats have broken away from the clans, living solitary lives in dens far from Clan camps. They live secluded lives, coming to the clans only when needed. Clan sizes have grown to twice they used to be. Leaders have become war generals, pitting their warriors against the other clans. Gatherings have become political battlefields for leaders to degrade other clans. Battles are constant, and alliances between clans come and go like the erratic weather.
The ranking within the Clans have changed as well. The leader and deputy are still in place, but because they spend a lot of their days planning the next elaborately staged attack, they have set Regents up. Regents, usually four in a clan, keep the clan running in terms of hunting and patrolling. They also usually lead their own groups in battles, so each regents is in charge of their own select group of warriors and apprentices.
These new clans promise adventure and will require all of your will to stay on top. Will your pride show through?
