Hey there. I'm Kestryl, Shadie, Anna, call me whatever wanna call me, I'll answer to almost anything. I'm the crazy, book-addicted kid in the corner. Always watching. I've got many interests, which include reading, writing, photography, Japanese, RPG's, gaming, music... You might say I'm a complete and total nerd, but who said that's a bad thing?

So like I said, I absolutely adore reading. Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Artemis Fowl, Warriors... Many more that I don't feel like listing. Currently I'm working on a novel, but I'm not going to bother explaining what its about for fear that it won't work out. I can speak semi-fluent Japanese, and I am a decent photographer.

I may be one of the younger people on this site at thirteen, but people say that I have advanced writing skills for my age. Don't expect mediocre posts from me!

I'm a bit short, with thick, wavy, shoulder-length brown hair. I have dark hazel eyes, and I regret to say, freckles. I don't usually worry about how I look, so unless its a formal occasion, I wear T-Shirts and jeans. I'm a Christian, Presbyterian to be exact. I like to set religion aside on the internet, though, it causes too many arguments. I'm homeschooled, I just started this year. Really, I prefer public school, but I don't have a say in it.

Minus the religious point, which clearly none of us will get into, I swear you sound exactly like a mix of me and my friend Icey here. :D I also love reading, my main focus of reading being the Harry Potter series(and of course I've also read Warriors lol), and I don't do mediocre posts either. Plus my main internet name is Shade, so that just adds on to it more! You even sound similar to me in looks the way you described yourself, it's kind of creepy in a fun way. xD

Anyway, welcome to GOA. c: Glad you joined. I personally like to think of GOA as a sort of team aiming to create some of the best stories out there, so glad to know that another advanced writer is joining the group~ Hope you have fun writing with us here. :3

Oh, Japanese huh? I'm taking classes in it (though I'm not as good as I was a year ago >.<)

I think all of us here love books xD I'm also the reason the Borders near my house is still in business lol. But I like a bunch of series: Warriors(though I'm tad behind), Seekers(also behind), Guardians of Ga'Hoole(read/got all of them x3), The Inheritance Cycle(waiting on the last book to come out), The Cat Who... (sadly I'm behind), The Hunger Games(still need to read the last book), Dark Instruments(read/got them all and loved them xD), Chronicles of Vladimir Tod(reading the last book), The Fallen(still working on reading it), Hush, Hush(waiting for third book to come out), The Dragon Keeper(read/have them all), Chronicles of Ancient Darkness(behind), and that's about most of them... I think xD I have too many books that I have piles on my floor xD
