Name:
Silverstar. (formerly Silvercloud.)
Age:
Twenty-four moons.
Gender:
She-cat.
Rank:
Leader.
Clan:
NightClan.
Personality:
If there was one word to describe Silverstar, it would be leader. She would sacrifice every one of her lives for her Clan without a moment’s hesitation. Silverstar always, always thinks of the Clan before herself. She is a fantastic hunter and a thoughtful, intelligent leader, even though she sometimes doubts her abilities. Silverstar can usually be found talking with her deputy, medicine cat, or senior warriors about things going on within the Clan and the territory. When she isn't doing that, she is likely out hunting with her brothers or Flamedance. Silverstar can fight, but she is small and fighting is definitely not her forte. She is small and light, agile and swift. When fighting with Flamedance, she uses her speed and agility to compliment his strength and power. Practice and devotion to each other has allowed them to work as one, predicting the other's moves, operating on the slightest glance or secret signal. Together, they can be devastating to the enemy.
Silverstar loves to hunt, and she does so as often as possible. She is very close to her brothers, despite how they teased her when they were kits. It is not rare to see Silverstar running through the land, flanked by Flamedance, Stormpelt, and Stoneclaw. As kits, the four were always up to some sort of mischief, and that hasn't changed much. Sometimes the four will go out together to investigate whatever suspicious thing a patrol has noticed. Though Silverstar is a regal leader, she isn't against a bit of fun every now and then; in fact, she enjoys it. She loves kits, and will sometimes take the time to play with them if she isn’t busy. She wants to one day have kits, but she isn’t confident in her ability to be both a mother and a leader at the same time.
Still waters run deep. Though Silverstar looks confident on the outside, it is merely a façade. Inside she is insecure and uncertain of her abilities as leader. She feels that she cannot be the great leader her Clan needs, though it is far from the truth. She is honest and loyal, with a strong heart and level head. She has the ability to mask how she truly feels about a situation, which helps her keep the Clan calm in times of crisis. She usually tries to maintain a calm outward opinion, even if her inner emotions are anything but. Her control over her emotions allows her to become whatever her Clan needs. The gentle mother, the loyal warrior, the protective mentor, the fierce fighter, the confident leader. Silverstar will do anything for the good of the Clan.
Physical Description:
Silverstar has light green eyes that burn with loyalty and determination. Her long silver fur is streaked with patches and spots of black that bleed into stripes. Her long tail streams out behind her as she runs, giving her better balance. Many scars mar her slender body, trophies and relics of bygone battles. Her small, delicate head sits regally upon her shoulders, always held aloft, like royalty. A small, slender, but well-muscled body hides beneath her sleek fur. Her teeth, sharp little fangs, deliver powerful blows, spelling death for prey, and injury for enemy. Long, razor-sharp claws and powerful legs pull her small frame over the land, into the trees, and slice through her enemies. Small and quick, lithe and agile, graceful and delicate. A voice that can soothe little kits, calm frayed nerves, and whisper quiet secrets can in an instant admonish a misbehaving apprentice, let loose a cry of war, or send warriors fleeing in terror. Eyes that burn like fire, smile with laughter, and drown with sorrow, can easily become cold, impenetrable, and emotionless. Mood swings? No, just becoming whatever leader the situation calls for, whatever her Clan needs.
History:
Silverkit was the smallest of her littermates, the runt. Her two brothers, Stonekit and Stormkit, always teased her for her size. When the trio became apprentices, Silverpaw emerged as an excellent hunter, while her brothers were the best fighters. Stonepaw and Stormpaw always fought and trained together as a pair, and like that they were unbeatable. Silverpaw was a decent fighter, but nowhere near as good as her brothers. Her mentor trained her hard every day, trying to make her a better fighter.
It was the help of another apprentice, Flamepaw, that helped Silverpaw become a better fighter. They learned to work as a team, and Silverpaw gradually became a better fighter. One day, as Silverpaw and Flamepaw were sharing a squirrel near the apprentice's den, Stonepaw and Stormpaw ran into the camp, panting heavily. In unison they cried out, "Rats! Rats near the river!" Their leader quickly sent out a battle patrol, and Flamepaw and Silverpaw asked to go. Their leader let them, but ordered Silverpaw's brothers to remain in camp to rest.
Silverpaw and Flamepaw pelted side-by-side after the warriors, right behind their mentors. They soon reached the spot where the border patrol was battling the rats. Silverpaw and Flamepaw fought side by side in the battle, killing several rats, and protecting each other. The cats eventually scared off the rats, leaving many dead. Half of the battle patrol chased the rats, making sure they left Clan territory. The rest of the warriors padded slowly back to camp, exhausted. Flamepaw leaned heavily on Silverpaw, who was limping. When the patrol got back to camp, they were greeted with many questions and cheers. Silverpaw led Flamepaw straight to the medicine cat's den.
The medicine cat looked over their wounds and patched up the most serious ones before moving on to treat the other cats. Silverpaw led Flamepaw to a quiet corner of the camp, where they laid down together. Silverpaw gently licked Flamepaw's torn ears and felt him slowly relax. He rested his head on his paws and soon fell asleep. Silverpaw stretched out next to him, still gently cleaning his wounds. Her brothers came over and began cleaning her wounds, telling her how proud of her they were. Silverpaw purred and soon fell asleep.
Later that afternoon, when the rest of the patrol had come back and rested, the leader called for a Clan meeting. Silverpaw, Flamepaw, Stonepaw, and Stormpaw all became warriors. Together they sat their vigil, and found places close together in the warrior's den the next morning.
Several moons later, Silvercloud and Flamedance were training their apprentices, Ripplepaw and Shrewpaw, when they saw part of the riverbank collapse into the rushing water. The yowling of terrified cats soon filled their ears. Silvercloud and Flamedance raced to the water in time to see three cats battling against the swift waters. Without a second thought, Silvercloud dove into the water and swam to the nearest cat. She grabbed the cat by his scruff and managed to get the cat back to safety. It was her brother, Stormpelt. She looked up to see Flamedance pulling Stoneclaw from the frigid waters.
Silvercloud looked around for the other cat, but saw no trace. She raced downstream and soon saw a dark shape floating in the river. She leapt into the water again, quickly making her way to the cat. Silvercloud dragged the cat out of the water. The she-cat, the deputy, was barely alive. Flamedance, Stormpelt, Stoneclaw, Ripplepaw, and Shrewpaw were soon by her side. Flamedance helped Silvercloud carry the deputy back to the camp, but by the time they reached it, the deputy had joined the ranks of StarClan.
The leader appointed Silvercloud as the Clan’s new deputy. When the leader lost his last life to sickness several moons later, Silvercloud became leader.
Other notes:
The other history was better, but didn't fit the territory.
EDIT:: I revised her, and I'm sorry it took so long. Life sucks.
